From browsing to pickup in three steps
Find something you like
Browse listings from anonymous sellers. Prices are shown in dollars, with the exact ZEC amount at checkout.
Pay from your own wallet
Send the amount to the one-time address made for your order. The rate is locked for a short time. Nothing to connect, no balance to top up.
Pick it up nearby
The seller ships to the pickup point you chose. Confirm delivery when you have the item and the seller is paid.
New to Zcash? It takes a few minutes.
Install a free Zcash wallet app (such as Zodl or YWallet), add a little ZEC, and keep it in the shielded balance. That is all you need to check out.
Do I need to know crypto?
Not much. You need a free Zcash wallet app and a little ZEC. Everything on the site is priced in dollars, and checkout shows the exact amount to send.
Is my payment safe?
ZMarket is in beta. The marketplace holds your payment until the order completes, and the seller is only paid after you confirm delivery or the dispute window passes. Because it is a beta, only spend what you can afford to lose.
Do I need an email or phone number?
No. Your account is a random number (plus an optional passkey). Save the number, because there is no email to recover it with.
Can sellers see where I live?
No. You pick a carrier pickup point or parcel locker at checkout and the seller ships there.
What is not allowed?
Anything illegal, plus the items on our prohibited list. Listings are screened and anyone can report one to the moderators.
